Pi`el Perfect dismay, scare, 2 masculine singular suffix וְחִתַּתַּ֫נִי בַחֲלֹמוֺת (Kö^{i. 372}) consecutive Job 7:14 and thou scarest me with dreams ("" בִּעֵת); 3 feminine singular חִתְּתָה Jeremiah 51:56 (of bows) is intransitive [inchoate Ew^{§ 120, 2 d}], Gf and others, be shattered, but text probably erroneous.
